Love In Action #107: the world we WILL have

Greetings Friends,

This Love In Action was in process for a few weeks, before we shifted into an even higher vibration of transformation. Please enjoy what is offered here. Slip into the presence of Love, Unity, and Harmony with Nature that is our birthright. It is here.

The next LIA will explore in a deep way, the assignment humanity has signed up for. Suffice it to say now that, we are in the birthing process, and the baby’s head is crowning. It’s messy, there’s screaming, blood and guts. And it’s perfect. Not easy. But perfect.

Now…

Let’s put our Imagination Hats on… and create it virtually… the world that is being birthed… and then we will bring it into physical manifestation, when the Time is right!

Kind hearts are the gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the blossoms,
Kind deeds are the fruits.
Take care of your garden
And keep out the weeds,
Fill it with sunshine
Kind words and kind deeds.

— Longfellow

This video, my friend, is not a fairy tale. It is the reality we are choosing at this very moment!

We are all at once both a composition and a composer. We have the ability not only to compose the future of our own lives, but to help compose the future of everyone around us and the communities in which we live. ~Maya Angelou

I swear I will not dishonor my soul with hatred, but offer myself humbly as a guardian of nature, as a healer of misery, as a messenger of wonder, as an architect of peace. ~Diane Ackerman

“What If” by Ganga White

 What If?

What if our religion was each other?

If our practice was our life?

If prayer was our words?

What if the Temple was the Earth?

If forests were our church?

If holy water was the rivers, lakes and oceans?

What if meditation was our relationships?

If the Teacher was life?

If wisdom was self-knowledge?

If love was the center of our being

– Ganga White

“What is the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this

muddled world a better place for those who will live after we are gone?” ~Winston Churchill

Hi G,

The coronavirus pandemic exposes everything. Every way our government hasn’t taken care of the people in this country, or around the world. Every inequity that determines whether you can wait out a pandemic inside a house stocked with food, live in a tent city with not even a day’s worth of food, work as an underpaid cashier without any protective equipment, or can access a ventilator when you can’t breathe.

For many, whether we can live or die of COVID-19 had already been decided for us long, long before it began.

That’s why, beyond this pandemic, beyond a long global recession that not everyone will make it through, beyond the belated memorials we will hold for those we lost, a question waits for us all: What is the world we will rebuild once we are through this crisis? And who will build it?

For Win Without War, that world is one that demands a drastic reshaping of our country’s and the world’s priorities. That’s why, during these scary days, we are holding tight to the values that would make sure we build a world that works for everyone, built by everyone.

And that’s why we made the below video with a number of our movement partners and champions in Congress to tell the story of the #WorldWeWant to build together — and how progressive foreign policy principles will help us get there. Will you watch now, and then share with your community?

Strong Women Leading:

Your ordinary acts of love and hope point to the extraordinary promise that every human life is of inestimable value. ~Desmond Tutu

Patience asks us to live the moment to the fullest,

to be completely present to the moment, to taste the here and now,

to be where we are. When we are impatient we try to get away from where we are.

We behave as if the real thing will happen tomorrow, later, and somewhere else.

Let’s be patient and trust that the treasure we look for is hidden in the ground on which we stand.

~ Henri Nouwen
